Breast Reduction

Breast reduction is performed primarily to reduce the mass of one or both breasts. Depending on the physiology of the patient, this may be considered as medically necessary by the patient’s insurance carrier. Various surgical techniques may be employed, some of which may also enhance the shape and form of the breast, as is performed in a breast lift (mastopexy).
